- 500 g flour (all-purpose)
- 500 ml of cooked wine (carob syrup)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Organic Orange, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon, ground
- 1/4 teaspoon Cloves, ground
STEP 1: Preheat oven to180 degrees C (350 degrees F). In a large bowl, combine in a bowl the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, and grated orange zest. Add the cooked wine and mix until the dough is “shaggy” and similar to shortbread.
STEP 2: Roll out the dough , then cut into diamond shapes.
STEP 3: Arrange the biscuits on a greased baking sheet.
STEP 4: Bake for about 15 minutes.
